1-3/8" x 1-3/8" Steel End Rail Clamp For Chain Link Fences

The steel end rail clamp is a vital component in the construction of ballfield fencing, backstops, and dog kennels. In essence, the clamp secures two separate pieces of pipe together in the form of a T-shaped joint. The assembly process is simple, as this clamp is made of two identically shaped halves. The shorter “arm” of the brace makes up the T’s vertical branch (post). Enclose this “arm” around the center of a chain link fence pipe. Insert the very end of the second pipe through the longer “arm” to create the T’s horizontal shaft.

Clamping everything securely together requires a carriage bolt (sold separately). Before applying the bolt, inch the second fence pipe—the vertical one—down until it sits just past the square-shaped bolt hole in the clamp’s center. Insert the carriage bolt through this hole and all the way through the other side. Now, use a nut to tighten the two clamp pieces—and the pipes they contain—together.

The 1-3/8” x 1-3/8” End Rail Clamp is made of galvanized steel for superior rust resistance. This means the clamp is resilient to rust caused by precipitation such as rain. This, in turn, contributes to your chain link fence’s longevity.

  • Rust-resistant
  • Carriage nut and bolt sold separately, part 11171
